Hey guys, thanks for your comments. Tanya, the About section is well and truly filled!
Chris, if there is anything in particular that you want to know more about with regards to music production, plugins or using music software, just let me know. Cheers, G.
Great post. Appreciate your insights.
Discovered your weblog and decided to use a quick study, not what a usually do but nice one. Nice to see a blog for the change that isn’t full of spam and rubbish, and really makes some sense. Anyway, nice write up.
In search of this for quite a while now – i imagine chance is much more advanced as opposed to search engines…
Greetings. Very good design you have here. I am struggling to find a fresh theme for my blog – where did you get this layout? is it free or paid for? Thanks.

you guys are awesome.. can you sugesst me.. something like i have a lyrics in my mind as well as melody for it but how to start constructing its music arrangement..? this is where i get strucked please help me out… this part always works on luck factor for me..
Hi richard
It sounds like what you’re after are some essential tips on the craft of songwriting, arranging and music theory – how to take that seed of an idea and unpack it, develop it, come up with supporting and contrasting elements to span the length of a full track etc. It’s certainly a big question with many many answers, and about which entire books are written, but I detailed a few arrangement methods in this article, 50 Pro Tips For Breathing Life Into Your Electronic Music.
I would also recommend analyzing the arrangements of your favourite tracks in the same style that you’re working: it’s a great way to figure out what effect different arrangements, patterns or combinations of instruments have, and you’ll then have templates to refer back to for what you might need to do next to develop your inital idea.
Good luck!
Hi George, I absolutely LOVE this site ! thanks for starting this..
I’m not sure if I looked at all the places, but I wanted a few tips on ‘Finishin a song’, in other words,’finalising’ a song and the arrangement.
I always get confused with putting a proper arrangement to an idea and most of my projects get stuck the mid way after the first drop and the energy does not match with the initial pickup.
I want to learn the dynamics of a song, the drops and pickups and final ending to a song, the complete arrangement.
I have referred to many of my favourite tracks and learnt the drops and all but I am unable to gel the idea together.
Regards,
Ansh
